At the start of every year, it is important for us as a class to establish what we want our classroom to look like and the expectations of the Rights Holders (Children) and the Duty Bearers (Adults). 

Creating our class charters is an important part of building a positive and respectful learning environment. A class charter gives everyone a voice in agreeing how we want our classroom to feel and how we will treat one another. By creating it together, we take ownership of our shared expectations, values and responsibilities.
